For more than forty years, Besana Moquette has been redefining the world of textile flooring through research, innovation, and a deep understanding of materials. Founded in Brianza in 1987 by Roberto Besana, the company initially belonged to the prestigious Italian Wool Industry Association and quickly distinguished itself for its innovative approach to carpet manufacturing.
From the 1960s boom of textile flooring to the 1980s golden age of moquette, Besana preserved and renewed this heritage, bringing carpet back into contemporary interiors by debunking myths and elevating it into a high-performance, design-driven material.
Today, Besana stands out for its unique ability to merge artisan savoir-faire, cutting-edge laboratory processes, and a chameleonic design culture, offering solutions that are fully customisable and suitable for both residential and contract environments.

Thanks to high-quality yarns (polyamide, polyester, polypropylene) and rigorous laboratory processes, it guarantees superior hygiene, easy maintenance, low VOC emissions, fire resistance, and antistatic properties .
It also reduces airborne dust by 80%, offering improved indoor air quality and exceptional acoustic comfort.
Carpets
In 2007, Besana expanded its expertise into the world of rugs, giving birth to Besana Carpet Lab, a creative workshop where designers and clients can explore unexpected color combinations and tailor-made solutions.
Rugs can be crafted in wool or synthetic yarns, in any shape, with traditional or digital techniques, allowing full freedom of expression.
Runners
