Global Standard
With DALI you don’t need separate control wires for each function.
You only need one two-wire control bus, which can be wired alongside the mains.

Every device is “addressable”
Each DALI driver or device has its own address.
This means you don’t need to split circuits physically to create groups or scenes. You do it in software, without changing any wiring.
Changes and adjustments can be done even after installation, with no demolition.
Advanced functions without complex central units
With DALI controls (pushbuttons, sensors, touch panels), you can create dimming (luminaires dim smoothly and reliably without visible flicker), lighting scenes, fade-in/fade-out, automatic switching, presence/absence detection, daylight harvesting. All without using expensive central controllers.

The dimming output follows a logarithmic curve, enabling extremely fine resolution (down to 0.1%) aligned with human visual perception.
