LightFaber/Darling Acoustics

Our story spans decades, friendships, families, and countries. What unites the people behind our company is a shared desire to leave a tangible mark, through the creation of objects, through knowledge, and through the promotion of a culture of quality traditionally associated with the world of luxury.

“Every object must be more than function”

This project brings together Italian and Romanian partners, combining technical, engineering, creative, and communication skills to design and produce objects that are both functional and beautiful—meant to be used, lived with, and admired every day. We work with state-of-the-art machinery, yet we never rely on technology alone. Every product deserves attention, care, and a thoughtful approach, reflecting the respect we have for our customers.

We believe that a successful team is built on shared commitment, initiative, and a genuine appreciation for beauty and craftsmanship. Our products are the result of a dialogue between different materials and areas of expertise, while the brands we represent are among the finest in their respective fields. They are products we trust, use, and proudly present.

We work across multiple fields: lighting, wall decorations, home accessories—both simple and complex—textiles, carpets and rugs, wallpaper, and lighting control systems. Everything we create and select is conceived with one guiding principle in mind: achieving the state of the art in every form.

In a rapidly evolving technological landscape, we believe it is essential to look both to the future and to the past: to pursue innovation and the highest standards, without losing sight of our human roots and values.

We are a family and friends run production reality, where technical expertise meets craftsmanship, where engineering meets design and digital thinking takes physical form. We do not pursue mass production or the resale of ordinary objects. Instead, we focus on building meaningful, lasting relationships between the company and its customers.

Core team

Davide

Chief Engineering officer

I am an Italian engineer, educated at the Politecnico di Milano, with a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. Throughout my life, I have sought answers to why, trying to understand the technical and scientific dimensions of this time and space. Sometimes I find clarity; other times, I remain in search.
I believe that something truly magnificent resides in the beauty and quiet persistence of nature. Sound, light, and electricity embody, for me, many of those phenomena that are both tangible and theoretical, capable of conveying the deepest emotions. I see challenges as opportunities, and diversity as something to be approached with respect, openness, and curiosity. Ultimately, this journey is about giving meaning to my existence.

Catalina

Chief Executive officer

I am the co-founder of a company that brings together technical expertise, aesthetics, and a deep passion for quality. I am primarily responsible for management, overseeing organizational details and ensuring that our ideas are transformed into coherent, tangible projects. I believe in balance between functionality and beauty, creativity and structure, because it is in this space that our work truly takes shape.

Marco

Chief Technical officer

After years in the structured world of business intelligence and avionics software development, I learned to approach every challenge with precision, agility, and curiosity. Traits which really define my approach not only to work but to life.
A life where object crafting with a wide range of materials in the 3D printing field is not only a passion but a constant that drives my actions toward technologies even more.
I’m now channeling that journey into a new direction: crafting meaningful, functional, high-quality products.

Melania

Head of Marketing & Brand

With a background in marketing and sales, I blend creativity with strategy to create meaningful, authentic work rooted in consumer behavior, visual impact, and storytelling.
I’m passionate about how ideas are communicated and perceived, and about understanding what captures attention and drives connection.
I’m drawn to creation in all its forms, especially hands-on composition, seeing objects and concepts not just as they are, but for what they can become, guided by imagination and sharp observation.
