Height adjustment
The suspension cables are equipped with safety-locking mechanisms, allowing easy height regulation by the user.
Longer cables, over 2 m, can be supplied upon request.
Lamp length options
Each luminaire is defined by its proportion, form compact, focussed light accents to long, continuous lines that accompany the architecture.
Four standard modules are available:
- Short — 280 mm light source, 1040 lumens
- Medium — 1120 mm light source, 5100 lumens
- Long — 1400 mm light source, 6300 lumens
The Short version is designed for focused illumination, ideal for reading zones or compact areas where precision and comfort are essential. The Medium offers balanced lighting performance, perfectly suited to domestic interiors and professional environments alike. The Long model extends coverage with a linear beam, ideal for tables, work surfaces, or aligned installations that require continuity.
Custom lengths and multi-module compositions can be developed on request, allowing the pendant to follow the exact rhythm of your environment.
Material and finishes
Each luminaire is crafted from a single block of solid beech wood (FSC certified), carefully selected for grain and stability.
The body is milled from the full mass, avoiding joints or glue lines, preserving the natural purity and continuity of the material.
Finishes are available in transparent varnish (enhancing the natural wood texture) and lacquered finish (for a more contemporary and chromatic expression).
Standard colours:
- RAL 9005 – Jet Black
A deep, intense black with a matte or glossy finish, depending on application. - RAL 7042 – Traffic Grey A
A balanced, neutral grey with a clean and contemporary look. - RAL 9001 – Cream White
A warm, slightly off-white tone with a soft, natural feel. - Transparent protective coating

Upon request, the luminaire can be crafted in mahogany wood, offering a richer tone and distinct grain pattern.
Light temperature
Light defines atmosphere — it determines how materials, colors, and surfaces are perceived. Each environment requires its own balance between warmth and clarity, intimacy and precision.
For this reason, Lightfaber pendants are available in three main color temperatures, each shaping a distinct emotional and visual experience.
- Warm (2700º K): gentle and embracing. Ideal for living areas, restaurants, and hospitality spaces where light should invite relaxation.
- Natural (3000º K): balanced and neutral. Enhances the authenticity of materials and preserves a comfortable tone suited for workspaces or domestic interiors.
- Cold (4000º K): clear and precise. Offers a brighter perception and heightened contrast, perfect for contemporary, minimalist, or technical contexts.
Every version features a Color Rendering Index (CRI) above 90, ensuring faithful reproduction of natural tones, an essential quality for design studios, galleries, and all environments where color accuracy and material expression are key.
On request, custom light spectra and tunable-white versions can be developed for advanced lighting control.
Electronics and control systems
Our pendants integrate premium-grade European electronics, delivering flicker-free illumination and a lifetime rated at over 50 000 hours. They support a wide range of control systems, allowing integration into both simple installations and sophisticated smart lighting networks.
The available control options include:
OnOff (type: Basic)
Simple switching: turn the luminaire on or off, no dimming capability. Ideal for straightforward installations or fixed-light-level applications.
Switch Dim (Wired)
Allows brightness regulation using a push-button or standard wall switch on the mains line. A cost-effective way to add dimming without full network control.
DALI (Wired)
Industry-standard lighting network protocol (IEC 62386) for flexible and scalable control: individual addressability, grouping, scene recall and two-way feedback.
Casambi (Wireless)
Bluetooth®-based mesh control system that allows configuration, scene setting and network management via smartphone or tablet; supports lighting groups, occupations sensors, daylight harvesting and more.
Matter (Wireless)
Next-generation connectivity standard bridging lighting with smart home ecosystems (e.g., voice assistants from Alexa, Google and Apple). Enables direct voice or app control and integration in building-automation systems.
Basic Dim (Auxiliary)
A simplified low-voltage dimming interface often used in conjunction with wireless systems (Casambi/Matter) — uses a two-wire button interface controlling the driver’s dimming function.
Typical combinations may include:
- DALI + SwitchDim
- Casambi + BasicDim
- Matter + BasicDim
In addition: a timed corridor function can be implemented (the luminaire dims or switches after a preset time, ideal for passageways or transitional spaces).

NEW: Double light source (optional)
When equipped with DALI or wireless systems, each source can be dimmed independently.
Selected models feature a dual light emission, both upward and downward: the lower source provides functional illumination for tables, desks, or corridors, the upper source creates a soft ambient halo, enhancing spatial depth.
