Material Archive

In these page we share glimpses of our experience and details of our craft.
We chose wood — first and foremost solid wood — to create objects that preserve a living connection with the nature they come from. Wood absorbs something of the earth and returns it to us, allowing us to live in deeper harmony with it.

We have always valued quality over quantity, precision over speed.
With a scientific background, every new project becomes an exploration: a way to understand the material, our tools, and our own limits — until we meet nature itself.
Our work moves across light and acoustics, from parametric forms to home accessories and simple beech cutting boards.

Each species of wood has its own personality: beech is balanced and resilient, mahogany deep and noble, walnut warm and expressive, oak strong and timeless.
At times, we also use engineered woods such as plywood or MDF, where mechanical uniformity offers precision that complements nature’s variability.

Our tools are advanced, yet the process remains human: as wood is shaped through the removal of material, it demands attention and gentleness — a dialogue between design, machine, and hand.
